Storage Method
Once done, wash and store promptly to avoid rust.
If idle for a while, dry thoroughly, wrap in newspaper, and store in a well-aired spot
01 | Develop a habit of washing immediately after use!
Stainless steel knives resist corrosion but can still rust. To prevent rust, ensure you remove salt, moisture, and acids that lead to oxidation when they touch ingredients. After cooking, remember to wash the knife and cutting board before eating.
02 | Knife washing and long-term storage method
- Place the knife on the cutting board and gently wipe it with a soft sponge dipped in detergent.
- Rinse the knife with water and dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.
- Allow it to air dry naturally, ensuring all moisture is removed before storing.
- If you like, opt for a cork over a sponge for cleaning.
- Washing with hot water not only sterilizes but also aids quicker moisture evaporation.
- When storing the knife long-term, ensure it's dry and wrap it in newspaper in a dry spot.
Precaution
Handling precautions
- The kitchen knife is intended for cooking purposes. Please do not use it for any other purposes.
- If it is damaged or deformed, please stop using it immediately.
- When cleaning, please be careful with the blade.
- Store it in a safe place where it is out of reach of children.
- When cutting hard foods or applying strong pressure with the blade, use a cutting board.
- When cutting hard objects such as fish bones or crabs, use a thick-bladed deba knife. For frozen foods, use a dedicated frozen knife.
- Do not use it to cut hard objects such as metal or stone.
- Avoid cutting or applying impact from side to side. It can cause the blade to become loose, break, crack, or deform.
- Teach children how to use it properly under adult supervision.
- Do not directly expose the knife body to fire or place it close to it.
- Do not place it near a flame. It can cause deformation of the handle or be a fire hazard.
- When using it for the first time, wash it with a soft sponge and dishwashing detergent, then dry it with a towel.
- For new products, there might be a chemical scent from the handle, but it's harmless and fades away with time.
*Be extra careful when opening the product for the first time as the blade may be sharp.
Management precautions
- Even though it's [stainless] and resistant to rust, make sure to eliminate foreign substances and thoroughly dry it post-use.

- Avoid scratching the blade with materials like nylon or cloth.
- The Atomy scrubber has abrasive material that can harm the blade; opt for a "pull-out scrubber" instead.
- Maintain cutting performance by sharpening the blade monthly with a simple sharpener.
- For best results, hand wash and avoid using a dishwasher.
